Maison Caramany
My Husband and I spent a month here and we absolutely LOVED it. The home had everything you could ask for in the hills of the Pyrenees Mountains, an awesome little medieval town surrounded by beautiful vineyards and spectacular views. The place was kept perfectly clean and there was not one more thing you could have asked for, as everything you needed was at hand. Gino (who we rented it from) was super friendly and helpful. Included wifi, cable. Loved the many excursions we took (Carcassonne Castle and Queribus are musts). Close to Spain (check out Figueres for a great time at the Salvador Dali Museum and Calella for a great beach town).
Caramany was the perfect place to get away if you're looking for peace and quiet. I came here to work and it's a writer's paradise. A great place for wine lovers as well. If I ever return to the South of France, I would definitely shoot to stay here again!

Maison Caramany was the perfect stay for us, plenty of room, well appointed, and the owner has thought of everything and some. We certainly had everything we needed. We found the top terrace an excellent place to sit in the evening while the sun goes down and lights the hill opposite, and it was an excellent place to just enjoy overlooking a typical French village.

This village house is really perfect for a taste of French village life in a great region to explore. We particularly liked the roof top patio but in reality the whole place was well renovated, homily and a joy to spend a break in. We went for walks to the lake a drove to a few of the local villages Gino suggested for good food. We stayed 4 days but could have stayed at least a week, Gino was helpful and we have great memories of this 4 days of our break. This is a place worth booking and a region with magis villages and castles worth exploring.

We had a great time staying here. Thanks Gino! The house is beautiful and the surrounding landscape was amazing to walk, cycle and drive in. I would highly recommend the house to anyone wanting to stay in the area. We were so sad to have to leave :(

La maison est très confortable et très bien équipée, la terrasse est un plus ... Tout est très propre et bien entretenu. Le petit cadeau de bienvenue fut fort apprécié et les nombreuses suggestions d’activités et renseignements pratiques fournis par Gino, le propriétaire des lieux se sont avérés plus qu’utiles. Un endroit à recommander !

Séjour très agréable dans le petit village très calme de Caramany. Les alentours sont magnifiques et la maison de Gino est parfaitement fonctionnelle en plus d'être très accueillante.

We had a wonderful stay at Gino's place over the long weekend in August. Caramany is a beautiful little village. The apartment is lovely and clean. The terrace upstairs has a beautiful view and we enjoyed breakfast there each morning. Gino is a great host and very contactable. Kitchen was great and bedrooms, especially the main bedroom, were lovely.

Gino's great host and his house very well equipped, nicely furnished and cosy is very comfortable for a family stay. A roof top overlooking the village roofs completes the picture... where you can enjoy breakfast in the sun or dinners under stars. An excellent value for price, located in a beautiful region for those who enjoy nature, treks, wines, history, wild landscapes ... Last but not least, La Maison is extremely clean thanks to Amandine ;-)

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison de Gino. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée. Nous y avons trouvé tout le confort, des jeux et une bouteille de vin (du cru) en arrivant. Le village de Caramany est charmant. Je conseille. Merci Gino.
